HOCET accepts persons of all races to come and volunteer to our centers at any time during a year regarding that communication was done in advance. KUJALI International, our partner; is now being doing coordination of all volunteerism program for the volunteers coming from US and some other countries.
We are proud for any communication which will be done through KUJALI for persons desire to volunteer; but also we welcome direct communications to HOCET Head Office in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
We welcome people with different expertise like secondary school teachers particularly in science subjects and language; English. Persons who wishes to come and teach will be taken directly to our school at Mkuranga where the school is located. For the persons who will be interested to work with small kids who are in City Center have to get to know in advance that in the morning usually kids are in school till 1400 hrs.
Since we also involve in agricultural activities in horticulture and animal husbandry (poultry production), we welcome agricultural extension officers to come and offer their skills too. The aim of agricultural activities being carried out at school is based on teaching and training, income generating and land fertility.
We also welcome people with medical and health skills so that they can provide preventive measures to both our staffs and kids as well into different aspects as far as both communicable and non communicable diseases are concerning. In this aspect we also welcome psychologists who will offer consultation to our students facing various trauma.
For the people who will be interested to volunteer at school they have to know in advance that the school is located in remote area although it’s easy coming to Dar es Salaam city center.
